Smoothies are a great way to pack in tons of vitamins and minerals. This smoothie is loaded with antioxidants, sneaks in greens and is a great source of omega 3. This is one of my favorite breakfast options.
½ cup frozen mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
½ banana
1 cup fresh spinach
1 tbsp chia seeds
8 fl oz low-fat strawberry Kefir (or 1 C. unsweet vanilla almond milk & 1 scoop whey protein powder)
20 g vanilla whey protein powder (3/4 scoop)
Triple Berry Smoothie
1
Blend all ingredients using your choice of Kefir or almond milk & protein powder with 1/2 cup of ice (more if you like a thicker consistency). Makes 1 smoothie.
